Question #44: nail polish

Why is it that in order to paint your nails you need a chemical that can make you high from a foot away? And why is it called nail polish instead of nail paint? It's not like you polish your nails...

    ...nail polish flows, nail paint...doesnt. haha it sounds like a war paint. and if you go to war with nail polish, you're bound to chip. :)
